Ujjwal Bhawishya – Bright Future Programme

The Ujjwal Bhawishya – Bright Future Programme: Youth Pathways Nepal – Parbat Chapter is a three-year initiative bringing the Award to Modi Rural Municipality in Parbat District. It is implemented by Saksham Yuwa Nepal with funding from The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation and coordination with the local government.

The programme will train 24 teachers from 12 community schools as certified Award Leaders and guide 720 students aged 13–24 through Physical Recreation, Skills, Voluntary Service and Adventurous Journey activities. Participating schools also receive digital support for enrolment, monitoring and record keeping.

Cluster-based field visits, practical training and hybrid monitoring address the realities of rural terrain and limited connectivity. The goal is to embed a sustainable, locally led youth-development model within the public school system.
